This pata negra paleta comes sliced from the shoulder of the 100% Iberico free-range pig, which has been raised free-range on a scrumptious diet of acorns, wild herbs, and mushrooms in their indigenous habitat of the Spanish dehesas (meadows). This small serving, retail pack of paleta allows you to savor the full package in one go. This paleta is ideal for serving simply with pieces of toasted bread and manchego cheese. This ham pairs very well with reserve red wines from the AOC Ribero del Duero and Rioja regions. Store in the fridge, remove from the fridge 5-15 minutes prior to serving. For the extra kick of taste, place the unopened plastic pack in warm water for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the water, open it, and arrange the ham on a simple, warmed, flat plate. Serve and enjoy!
